Honesty In Education; Understanding The Attack Critical Race Theory And Its Impact On Public Education

The NEA Center for Social Justice (CSJ) Summer Justice Series (SJS) presents:

As segments of the country start to acknowledge and protest against the ways that institutional and systemic racism adversely impact Black, Indigenous, and other people of color. Participants in this session will explore and develop an understanding of the origin and history of critical race theory; what the current discussion and debate around CRT are about; the impact of the legislative movement to ban CRT and the impact on public education; as well as strategies for challenging these bans – and what we can do together to ensure honesty in education.
