Our students and public schools are in crisis.
The Alaska Legislature must take bold action to increase education funding.

The Alaska Association of School Boards unanimously passed a resolution calling for a minimum increase of $860 to the Base Student Allocation (BSA).
Across our state, the majority of Alaskans want the same thing – thriving communities with good jobs and strong public schools.
It’s time for Alaska leaders to focus on providing our students with the resources and support they deserve, respecting and adequately compensating our educators and public employees, and strengthening public education as the cornerstone of our democracy and our communities.
