Governor Dunleavy has vetoed Senate Bill 113, which aimed to close a corporate tax loophole to ensure Alaska gets its fair share from companies like Amazon and Netflix. This bill's revenue was set to fund Career and Technical Education (CTE) and support the Alaska Reads Act.

Legislators can vote to override this veto in January during their regular session, but it requires 45 votes to be overridden. We need to use our voice to show legislators we support education and career readiness over out of state billionaires.
