Collaboration is the path to success.

NEA-Alaska works with partner organizations across the state to build strong coalitions to support our public schools. From labor organizations like the Alaska AFL-CIO, to grassroots parent groups like Great Alaska Schools, we are proud to work alongside other Alaskans who are committed to providing every student with the opportunity to be successful.

Learn more about our partner organizations below:

  • Alaska AFL-CIO: The Alaska AFL-CIO is the state's largest labor organization, representing 50,000 union members belonging to over 50 affiliated unions statewide. We also strive to represent the interests of workers not represented by unions.

  • Alaska Children's Trust: Alaska Children’s Trust is the statewide lead organization in the prevention of child abuse and neglect.
  • Great Alaska Schools: A statewide, non-partisan coalition advocating for a quality public education for every child, to ensure a strong future for Alaska.
  • Coalition for Education Equity: A statewide, member-based nonprofit organization that champions quality, equitable and adequate public education for every Alaska child.
  • Alaska Public Pension Coalition: Alaska Public Pension Coalition’s (AKPPC) primary purpose is to re-open the state’s closed pension plans.
