ESP of the Year Award

The Process

A sub-committee of the NEA-Alaska Board of Directors selects each year’s winner. This is your opportunity to share with the members of the committee whatever information you think would be helpful to them in making their decision. You may include biographical information, information on programs you have developed or used successfully, your commitment to your community, your Association work, a brief discussion of major issues/trends impacting education and the work of Education Support Professionals. Please include letters of reference to support your nominee.

(Please note: The winner of the state’s nomination is eligible to submit their nomination for the National Education Association ESP of the year as well. Their nomination submission includes a paper written by the ESP in regard to Professional Practice, Member Advocacy and Association Involvement, Community Engagement, Personal Achievement, Enhancement of the ESP Image.)
