2024 Community Outreach Matching Grant

This grant is designed to encourage and assist local associations to initiate or expand their communications efforts to secure community and/or government support for the local association, NEA-Alaska, and public education.

Grant Application

The deadline to submit your Community Outreach Matching Grant is Monday, December 9, 2024.

The NEA-Alaska Community Outreach Matching Grants program is designed to encourage and assist local associations (or groups of locals) to initiate or expand their communications efforts to secure community and/or government support for the local association, NEA-Alaska, and public education.
 
Matching grants will provide financial support for local activities by matching the local’s outreach expenses dollar-for-dollar. Example: A local must spend a total of $2,000 in order to qualify for $1,000 in reimbursement from NEA-Alaska ($1,000 is the maximum amount permitted under this grant).

Deadlines: 

Monday, December 9, 2024: Grant Request Submissions Due
Friday, December 20, 2024: Awards Announced
Friday, March 14, 2025: Progress Report Due
Friday, July 25, 2025: Reimbursement Receipts Due
