2026 NEA-Alaska Big 15 Meeting

EVENT INFO:  

Each year, NEA-Alaska brings together its fifteen largest locals to plan for leadership development, and also to make plans for member recruitment and engagement for the coming spring and fall. Additionally, this year we will talk about how we can engage members in the 2026 November elections.

This years Big 15 Gathering will take place Friday evening and all-day Saturday, February 20th and 21st, 2026.

AIRLINE TRAVEL:  

NEA-Alaska will reimburse round-trip airfare (best possible fare) to Anchorage to attend the Big 15 Meeting.  Remember to book your flights well enough in advance to qualify for the lower cost fares.  You must provide a copy of your itinerary – showing how the ticket was paid – boarding passes and attach them to your reimbursement form.  Please include cab receipts (from/to airport) and if you share a cab, indicate their name(s) on the reimbursement form.
