NEA-Alaska may provide financial support to local associations for local presidents and/or designees to travel to represented worksites. Please examine all of the criteria found on the application to proceed.
NEA-Alaska Board Policy: NEA-Alaska shall reimburse local associations for costs up to $1,500 per year for local presidents, and/or designees for travel expenses to represented worksites for the purpose of member recruitment, retention, and organizing. Requests must be submitted in writing to the NEA-Alaska President by the local president and shall contain a budget, purpose of the travel, and the anticipated outcome of the travel. The NEA-Alaska President shall approve or deny the request in writing with a rationale for the decision.
Reimbursements shall follow existing NEA-Alaska travel and reimbursement policies.
