All local presidents within NEA-Alaska have an important role, but the position of release-time president brings with it a different, and more all-encompassing job description. NEA-Alaska would like to support our release-time presidents with a separate time to gather and go over some release-time-specific topics, such as:
- An in-depth political overview;
- NEA resources and connection points;
- Balancing all of the constituency groups with demands on your time, both internal (members, leaders, committees) and external (the district, the public);
- Effective communication with all of the above groups;
- and more!
